Weekly town meetings have been a cornerstone of Swain's school community. After two years of distancing and cohorting classes, town meetings are finally back and better than ever!
Our friends in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades took advantage of the beautiful warm weather and held their town meeting outside. They came together to celebrate birthdays, connect with friends in other grades, and with Earth Day in mind, they honored our environment and Swain Campus.
The rolled up their sleeves, put on some gloves, and collected litter from our sports field and playground.
They found dental floss, old sandwiches, snack bags, empty hand cream bottles, candy wrappers, and more!
Now, as environmental stewards, they are part of the solution, not the pollution!
