Fourth-Grade Presents on Severe Weather & Natural Disasters

Our fourth-grade classes culminated their severe weather and natural disasters nonfiction unit with group presentations.

Each group was assigned a weather event or natural disaster, including blizzards, tornadoes, volcanoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunamis, to present about to the class. Individual students were responsible for researching one subject within their assigned group, including causes, effects, how the severity of weather or natural disasters are measured, how to prepare, reactions, and other similar events.

Most groups chose to create a presentation using Google Slides and some added to their presentation with posters and videos. It was an extraordinary learning experience for everyone involved!
