A Friday Full of Field Trips

May 27, 2022

Where in the world did our Middlers go on Friday? You could find them hiking in Jim Thorpe, exploring the National Museum of Industrial History, or adventuring in Beltzville State Park.

Eighth grade went to Jim Thorpe on Friday, May 20. After arriving at the Lehigh Gorge State Park, students took a leisurely hike for about an hour. In small groups with teachers, students explored Jim Thorpe, enjoying ice cream and other treats.

Meanwhile, seventh grade will be visited two museums: the National Museum of Industrial History in South Bethlehem and the America on Wheels Museum in Allentown.

Finally, sixth grade visited Beltzville State Park. Students rotated between various fossil workshops led and supervised by both Beltzville educators and Moravian Academy teachers. They ended the afternoon with time spent community-building on the beach.
