In PreKindergarten, we've been creating anatomy aprons to learn about organs and bones.
We colored and cut our last pair of organs, the kidneys, this week. We learned that these organs put clean fluid back into our blood. The impurities are captured in the kidneys and sent out through our urine. If one of our kidneys become ill or is a dud, the other does the job for both.
We heard a story about the internal organs arguing over who was most important. The brain helped them to realize that they all help each other and are equally important. We worked individually with our teachers to put our very own aprons together!
