The Longwood Gardens Field Trip is back! Seventh grade artists took their sketchbooks and cameras to explore the gardens and to draw from direct observation.

During their visit, they were able to experience the spring season unfolding.  Trees were flowering, tulips were in bloom, and the sweet smell of wisteria filled the air! As they explored the garden grounds and conservatory, they took photos and sketched.  Once back in the art room, they will take their photos and sketches and use them as inspiration to create beautiful watercolor paintings.
