Although the fall season is behind us, our student-athletes have received some significant accolades in the local press.

Jr. DEF Trey Sheeler

Sheeler was a big threat from set pieces for the Lions and finished second on the team in goals with 11. He also provided 5 assists. The junior center back helped Moravian Academy keep 10 clean sheets, including four shutouts in its five district and state tournament games. 

Sr. FWD Gennaro Mazzella

Mazzella capped off a stellar career with 34 goals and 12 assists this season as Moravian Academy, which won 18 games, reached the PIAA Class A semifinals. The senior scored five goals in the D-11 final to help the Lions capture their ninth consecutive district title.

Sr. MID Chloe Oudin, Moravian Academy

The senior tallied 20 goals this fall. Oudin added 22 assists on the year. She was selected for the Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State Team. The senior helped lead the Lions to their fourth straight District 11 Class A championship this season. She will continue her career at Division I St. Joseph’s.

Sr. DEF Grace Burcaw, Moravian Academy

The senior helped the Lions post nine shutouts this season. Burcaw was a key part of the team that won its fourth consecutive District 11 Class A title and advanced to the state quarterfinals this year. She will continue her career at Division I New Hampshire.

Sr. Isabella Bartolacci

The senior teamed with her sister Francesca Bartolacci to win the District 11 Class 2A doubles title. The pair posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the first round of the state tournament before falling to eventual champion Emily Greb and Lindsey Greb of Knoch in the quarterfinals. Isabella Bartolacci advanced to the district singles semifinals.

The sophomore teamed with her sister Isabella Bartolacci to win the District 11 Class 2A doubles championship. The duo also won in the first round of the state tournament by a score of 6-0, 6-0. Francesca Bartolacci earned the title at No. 2 singles in the Colonial League tournament. She advanced to the district singles semifinals before falling to eventual champion Sabrina Yurconic of Allentown Central Catholic.
