Today marks the beginning of the winter sports competitive season!  Our boys and girls swim team will get us started and host Salisbury high school at the Wilson Intermediate School pool. Meet is set to start at 4:00 pm. 

We will also host the John Donmoyer Memorial Classic this weekend.  On Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th, Moravian Academy will continue to honor the legacy of beloved varsity boys' basketball coach, the late Mr. John Donmoyer, with the John Donmoyer Memorial Basketball Classic held in the Athletic and Wellness Center. Mr. Donmoyer served as the varsity boys' basketball coach at Moravian Academy for 17 years before his sudden passing on August 16, 2014.  Tickets for the games will be sold at the door.

Admission is $5 for Adults and $3 for Students and Seniors.  All of the proceeds will be donated to Moravian Academy's John Donmoyer Scholarship Fund.  We will host 8 games in the Athletic and Wellness Center over the course of two days. Another highlight of the weekend is the Hall of Fame induction ceremony that is set to take place on Saturday afternoon around 2:15 pm.

I also want to congratulate boys' soccer coach Robert Hartman and girls' tennis coach Rick Brown on their recent awards. Coach Hartman was named Coach of the Year in the A Male classification by the The Pennsylvania State Soccer Coaches Association. Coach Brown was named the 2019 lehighvalleylive Girls Tennis Coach of the Year.
