The athletic teams started competitions this week as we returned from break.

The Upper School teams continued to prepare during spring break.  Our Varsity Boys’ Tennis team is off to a good start after posting two 5-0 wins against Pen Argyl and Wilson.  Coach Brown’s group will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Southern Lehigh for a Colonial League match.

Our Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ lacrosse teams also started their competitive seasons this week and both split the results finishing the week with 1 win and 1 loss.  The girls lost to Southern Lehigh in their home opener, but rebounded as they defeated Liberty by a 14-11 score.  The boys also lost their opener by a close 7-6 score at Southern Lehigh.  They returned to their home field on Thursday and won convincingly beating Liberty by an 8-0 result.

Our track and field athletes also had their first meet on Tuesday as they compete with Notre Dame of Green Pond.  The boys' and girls' teams both posted victories.  Please use this link to view the Colonial League track and field performances.

A big congratulations also to Oliver Ritchey '27 for the results as the PIAA State Swimming Championships at Bucknell University last week. Oliver placed 11th in the 500 Freestyle with a new boys team record of 4:51.83 and 19th in the 200 IM.

Please stay up to date with our teams by following them on the Moravianathletics.org site.
