The Boys’ Tennis Team has continued to perform at a high level.  After winning the District XI tournament by defeating Central Catholic, the team won their first round match vs. Scranton Prep. in the first round of the PIAA State Team tournament. 

The team will now move on the ¼ finals in Hershey where they will face Sewickley Academy.  Aveer Chadha '26 and Ford Koch '24 will also compete in the PIAA Doubles tournament in Hershey next weekend.

Our track and field athletes had some great performances at the Distict XI Track and Field Championship this week at Blue Mountain.  Valia Tsirukis '24 finished in 7^th place in the 100 M Hurdles.  Ninth grader, Roman Perrucci '27, earned a 15^th place finish in the 1600 Meter run.  Joseph Phillips '24 won his third straight gold medal at the District Championships in the 110 M Hurdles.  He also earned a bronze medal in the 300 M Hurdles.  AJ Sasso '24 continued on his hot streak by winning gold in the 800 M run.  Saleem Diakite '24 also earned a bronze medal in the 400 M run.  Saleem, Joseph, and AJ have all earned qualification to the PIAA State Championship next weekend in Shippensburg.  For a complete look at the District XI Championship, click HERE.

Our Girls’ and Boys’ Lacrosse teams have qualified for the District XI tournament.  Here are the details for the games:

Monday 5/20/24: Varsity Girls’ Lacrosse-District XI semi-final:  Moravian Academy vs. Southern Lehigh - 7 PM @ Emmaus HS.

Tuesday 5/21/24: Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse-District XI semi-final:  Moravian Academy vs. Allentown Central Catholic - 7 PM @ Emmaus HS.

Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 11. St. Luke’s will be hosting free PIAA Sports Physicals for the 2024-25 Academic Year from 5:00-8:00 PM on the Merle-Smith Campus.  Families and students need to sign up to secure an appointment.
