The Lions’ teams are ending September with some good performances! The teams continue to experience success on the field with some impressive individual performances.

Boys' Soccer Update
The varsity boys’ soccer team continues to roll after posting three strong performances this past week. Their overall record is 7-2 and the team has qualified for the District XI playoffs. The boys posted an impressive 3-0 win over a previously undefeated Allentown Central Catholic team. On Saturday 10/2, we will take the opportunity to recognize the seniors and their families as the team will host Pen Argyl for a Colonial League match-up.

Girls' Soccer Update
This was also a big week for the varsity girls’ soccer team as they earned three victories. The highlight of the week was a 3-0 result over Palisades high school this past Monday. The team will recognize their seniors on Tuesday, Oct. 12th during their home game vs. Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg.
We will recognize the following girls’ soccer seniors and their families: Juliana Blobe '22, Grace Burcaw '22, Isabel DeVos '22, Diana Lopez '22, Anna Mayer '22, Chloe Oudin '22, Ava Perrucci '22, and Lauren Reid '22.

Field Hockey Update
The varsity field hockey team will look to finish the week as they travel to Northern Lehigh this afternoon. The girls suffered their first setback with a loss to Southern Lehigh this past Tuesday. The team is still boasting an impressive 6-1 record.
Nikki Chiaradia '22 received media attention for her impressive performances, being named the Colonial League Star of the Week by lehighvalleylive.com! Phoebe Shane '23 was named an honorable mention.
They are now entering a busy part of their schedule with three games next week.
Cross-Country Update
The boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams have three regular season meets to finish their season. The teams will compete in the Lehigh Parkway on Tuesday as a part of Salisbury High School home meet. The Colonial League Championship meet is set to take place on Wednesday, October 20th at DeSales University with the boys’ race starting at 3 pm and the girls’ race following at 3:45 pm
