Athletics Updates for the 2022-23 Seasons

Here is some important information in preparation for the next 2022-23 athletics seasons pertaining to rising 6th-12th graders. 

Moravian Academy's Athletic Department will continue to host our pre-participation athletic forms and registration online at PlanetHS.  This digital platform allows you to access and complete registration forms online. It is HIPAA, COPPA, and FERPA compliant. 

• St. Luke’s University Health Network will be offering free sports physicals on Tuesday, June 14 from 5:00- 8:00 PM at the Athletic and Wellness Center located on the Merle-Smith Campus.

• Free sports physicals are also available at Coca-Cola Park on June 9, July 13, or July 28. Click HERE for sign-up information.

• If you use your own physician, it must be performed after June 1, 2022.  Bring Section 6 (family history) and Section 7 (Physician’s examination) to your appointment and create/update your PlanetHS account.

• Fall Athletics Start Dates

  • Monday, August 15: Grades 9-12
  • Monday, August 22: Grades 6-8. 
  • We will conduct summer training opportunities on the Merle-Smith Campus in June and July.  More information to come.
• Fall Schedules will be on Moravianathletics.org.
• There is a 2-week spring break (March 13 - 24) during the 2022-23 school calendar that falls during the spring sports season.  Important dates for the spring sports season:
  • Monday, March 6: Grades 9-12 first practice
  • Monday, March 13: Grades 6-8 first practice
  • Monday, March 20: Boys' Tennis first match
  • Tuesday, March 21: First game for other spring sports
