Award winning author Victoria Jamieson visited Moravian Academy on March 27th.
Downtown fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth-graders as well as the Swain Middle Schoolers got the chance to meet Victoria as she presented a hands-on demonstration of her artistic and literary skills.
She explained the process of creating a book and drawing their pictures from concept to published work. She walked the students through a step by step instruction on how to draw a character in a story.
After her presentation, she joined a select handful of students for a lunch with the author. She brought smiles to the faces of students and teachers as she answered questions and signed copies of her book.
