During the beginning school town meeting on January 12, 2023, students in the Beginning School on the Swain Campus learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy of LOVE.
After enjoying a performance from private lesson students Malika Varma '30 on the piano and Chiara Kramer '28 on the cello, beginning school students watched "The Story of Martin Luther King Jr." by Kid President. In an age appropriate way, students learned about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the power of LOVE, perseverance, and working toward your dreams.
