Bells, Bees, & Blueberries at the HDC

Mr. Diehl, Mr. Elstein, and the PreK team share recent moments of exploration, discovery, and fun from across the Historic Downtown Campus.

The 8th Grade Handbell Ensemble recently traveled to the Malmark Bellcraftsmen Factory in Plumsteadville. This field trip offered a captivating glimpse into the world of English handbells, crafted with precision and passion the Malmark way. 

Leonard Anthony '29 and his mom, Kirsten, joined Mr. Brian Elstein for a morning of beekeeping and honey harvesting. The Anthony family won this exciting experience during last year's Benefit for Moravian Academy.

PreK enjoyed a Blueberry Day on Tuesday as part of learning about colors. Students came to school dressed in blue and made a list of things beginning with the letter B. They also baked blueberry, muffins which they enjoyed for a yummy snack that day.
