Boys' Soccer Takes 7th Consecutive District Title

November 13, 2020

The boys’ soccer team continued their impressive run in the District finals as they secured their 7th consecutive District Championship.  The team beat Minersville by a score of 6-0.  They will also shift their focus to the PIAA State Tournament.

Following up on their 3rd consecutive District title, the girls’ soccer team defeated Montrose by a score of 4-0 in the first round of the State Tournament.  The win marked the first time that the program advances to the State ¼ finals.  Click Here for the highlights.

Our Varsity field hockey season came to an end last weekend, as they were defeated in overtime by Northwestern Lehigh by a score of 2-1. The girls should be proud of their accomplishments this year as they earned a District silver medal.  We will miss our seniors on the field, but with the many contributions from our younger players, the future looks bright for the field hockey program.

Chessie Bartolacci’s tennis season ended last weekend also, as she earned a 4th place finish in the PIAA State Singles Tournament.  The girls’ tennis team looks forward to a strong core of returning players next year and will look to return to the PIAA team finals in Hershey.
