More than ever… we need to entertain!
This year’s show will be recorded and released online.
Some acts may be recorded on stage with lighting, sound, and staging, etc. (staying within safety guidelines). To find out if your act would qualify for this process, please contact Mr. Riker and Mr. Y to schedule a preliminary meeting. This process will require an appointment date in order to work with directors and crew. We will use your appointment slot to see the act, work any notes, tech, and record. All participants in your act must be available and in attendance for the entire appointment.
Acts may also be recorded at home and submitted for inclusion. Home-recorded acts are subject to notes and you may be asked to re-record if necessary. If you plan to record at home, please consider “tweaking” your performance locale (tidying, setting some ambient lighting levels, creating an appropriate mood, etc.). We can consult and help with this if necessary. Also, for a variety of reasons, you may want to consult your parents about recording in your home.
- Acts must be show ready at the time of appointments.
- Acts should be not longer than 5 minutes, “Brevity is the soul of wit…”
- Please remember, at its core, this is a variety show
- Please consult with all members of your act, leaving ample time to prepare. this includes accompanists (mrs. himic).
- All acts MUST be family friendly. Please choose material wisely.
- Deadline to submit is Friday, November 13 at 3:15pm.
