Fifth Grade was busy writing letters about a topic very important to them, chocolate milk at lunch.
Students had strong opinions about whether or not there should be chocolate milk at school. Before crafting their arguments, they first learned how to find evidence to support their opinions from the articles they read in class.
Students then cited their evidence in letters to Mr. Zemsky, Head of School; Mrs. Brews, Acting Director of the Downtown Campus; and Mr. Leffler, the Director of Dining Services. Listen to them read their letters below.
They delivered their letters last week and now are waiting for a response... stay tuned!
