On Friday, November 13, at 5:00 PM, Claudia Hernandez '21 will present to NASA via Zoom!
She has been interning virtually under Dr. Geronimo Villanueva (the scientist that discovered Mars’ ancient ocean) and at his request, has created an interactive analytics tool for NASA - a web interface and graphic visualizer that scientists will use to analyze and categorize comets by composition as they research origins of life in our solar system and beyond. This novel interactive tool will eventually serve as a NASA repository!
The presentation, which will last approx. 20 minutes, was promoted to NASA's PSG (Planetary Spectrum Generator) Team. According to NASA:

Under a PSG internship, she mastered five programming languages and produced a highly professional online app. Among many other extraordinary achievements by Claudia, she is the founder of STEMWOMEN.tech, president of the PA chapter of Girls Computing league, and designer of the FRC Robotics Team.
