Calling all creators: The 2021 Doodle for Google contest is open for submissions until
February 26, 2021, at 11:59 PM PST.
The theme of this year's contest is strength. According to Google, "Strength isn’t only about how fast you can run or how many pushups you can do – it’s also about the strength inside of you." Having overcome so many challenges during the pandemic, our students have called on their own inner strength in ways big and small, making this a great opportunity for them to showcase their creativity. Students in grades K - 12 are eligible to enter.
All of the contest details can be found at the link above, including educational resources for teachers. Entries must be submitted by a teacher or parent.
Judges will select 54 state and territory winners, four national finalists, and one national winner. The top prize is a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology package for the winner's school, plus other Google swag.
