In fifth grade, students were hard at work writing informational books the last month.
Learners chose topics that they were experts on and began writing. They wrote a table of contents, chapters and a glossary. Many of the students drew pictures to add to their information books.
The information books had many amazing topics. Students wrote about cars, 3-D printing, Diwali, holidays, horses, tennis, soccer, arts and crafts, Legos and so much more!
After they completed their books, fifth-graders read their books outside to kindergarteners. There was a lot of excitement in the air as the kindergarten students paired up with the fifth graders to read the books. Everyone enjoyed reading and learning together outside!
