Musical Season has officially begun for 5th Graders at Swain.

Every year, Swain's 5th Graders start their year in anticipation of the traditional Fifth Grade Musical, designed to introduce them to the world of musical theatre before having the option of participating in the larger productions throughout their Middle School years. 

This year, Theatre Director Darah Donaher is excited to begin producing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl's timeless story of the world-famous candy man and his quest to find an heir with a golden ticket to adventure.

The Fifth Graders have already auditioned this week and are looking forward to start rehearsals as a cast. We know this is an incredible opportunity for them and we can't wait to watch them shine on stage. Keep an eye out for future performance dates, and read more about our Theatre Program here.
