In French 1, we recently wrapped up our travel unit.
As their culminating assessment for this topic, students were tasked to create a trip using Google MyMaps starting at their chosen Francophone city for the school year and then choosing four other locations of interest that make sense for a tour. After mapping out their cities, they researched specific locations and hotels within each city that interest them and wrote French comments about where they "are going to go," where they "are going to stay," and how they "are going to arrive" in each location using new vocabulary for various locations, transportation and the futur proche tense. Each project was unique and interactive! Perhaps this screenshot from John McKernan '23's voyage européen will inspire the MA community to acheter un billet d'avion for Moscow once we are able to aller en vacances!
