Girl Scouts Donate Cookies and Make a Moravian Connection

On Thursday, April 14, after school (despite the rain), Girl Scouts made a special delivery.

They walked to Moravian Village and Moravian Kings Daughters Home to deliver Cookie Shares (donated boxes of cookies).

While at Moravian Village, they connected with Miriam Devey, honorary alumna and wife of late head of school, David Devey, both of whom the Middle School's Devey Building is named after. Mrs. Devey was thrilled to meet the girls, sing the Alma Mater with them, and accept their donation on behalf of the other residents.

It was a wonderful experience, and we’ve already made plans for a future bingo game with the residents!
