Swain Campus students had an exciting opportunity to attend an educational program called "The Thrill of the Orchestra" by the Allentown Symphony at Miller Symphony Hall.
Through this program, students from second to fifth grade learned about the different sections of the orchestra, including strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. They were also treated to a delightful performance that included Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, III mov, Harry Potter's theme song, and even a harp piece.
This entertaining and educational event exposed our students to the world of classical music and will hopefully inspire them to explore the beauty and complexity of orchestral music.
