The Parents' Association is pleased to share that May 5th is Teacher Appreciation Day here at Moravian Academy and, in honor of our dedicated teachers, we would like to put together a video showing them how much we appreciate them!
We know that our teachers have risen to the challenge this year to create online virtual classrooms in just a few days, engage students more than ever, quickly learn new computer applications and programs, and seamlessly alter lesson plans to adapt to the current pandemic.
Since we will not be physically in school on May 5, we would like to send our teachers a video, letting them know how much we appreciate them, but we need your help!
We are asking you to send us pictures and short videos (10 seconds or less) of you and/or your child(ren) saying thank you in the best, most creative, way you can think of! Whether it's a picture of your student with a piece of work they completed at home or a quick video clip of you and/or your child saying a short "thank-you", we will add it to our video collage! Please be general in your message, we are sending it to all teachers in your division, so please don't mention any specific teachers. All submissions are due by Sunday, May 3rd.
