Swain Campus celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month.
At Swain, inclusivity is one of our top priorities, so celebrating and observing the contributions of Hispanic Americans is something we love passing on to our students. This morning, Spanish teacher Johanna Ordonez invited members from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (Lehigh Valley) to talk to our Fifth Grade students about their experience as bilingual Americans and why culture is important to them.
Fifth Graders gathered out front on the ampitheatre to learn more from our guests and ask questions. We love that Mrs. Ordonez is helping our students to grow in this way, and look forward to more celebrations next week!
