Holiday Hope Chests

The Volunteer Center of Lehigh Valley organizes an annual program, Holiday Hope Chest, for homeless and disadvantaged school-age youth in the Lehigh Valley. Since 2000, Moravian, Students have brought in winter-themed items to donate a total of 2,024 boxes. This year, Lehigh Valley non-profit organizations are requesting over 10,000 boxes for children.

Our Downtown Campus goal is to fill 350 boxes this year!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

*Non-gender-specific item

Who: We are collecting items specifically for girls, boys, or non-gender, ages 6 - 16.

What:

*Regular-sized shoeboxes or decorative memory boxes (separate lid preferred)

*Winter-themed wrapping paper for shoeboxes

*Items to fill the shoeboxes (see suggested list)

Where: Donations can be dropped off at the entryway of any building on the campus or directly mailed to Moravian Academy 11 W. Market, Bethlehem, PA 18018

When: The donation deadline is Monday, November 8th
