Information regarding domestic and international travel
As you begin to plan for the upcoming breaks, please know that your decisions regarding travel may have an impact on your child’s return to school. If your child travels with you to a state designated as high-risk by the PA Department of Health or to a country designated as high-risk by the CDC, they must quarantine at home for 14 days upon return. Your student will have the ability to learn virtually during their time in quarantine. Please inform your campus director if your holiday plans include travel so our teachers can prepare to teach your child remotely when you return. It is important to note that this quarantine period cannot be shortened by a negative test result.
If a member of your family travels to a state identified as high-risk by Pennsylvania, the student may attend school as long as the family member is symptom free. If the family member develops symptoms and subsequently tests positive for Covid-19, your student will be required to quarantine for the duration of the family member’s isolation, and will then quarantine for an additional 14 days, as per the protocol outlined in our Community Guide.
