Every year around Thanksgiving, my French students write thank-you messages in French for their teachers. This year, I adapted the activity to be virtual and emailed their digital cards to colleagues.
Students chose two teachers that have inspired, encouraged, or helped them in some way and wrote messages of gratitude in the target language (with translations for those who don’t already know some French). This is always a nice way to use the language to spread some gratitude around the community, and it was especially important during a difficult year when I know faculty all work so hard too keep our students learning and having a positive experience.
Has a Moravian Academy teacher, coach, or staff member made a difference in your life? Fill out the form above with your own messages of gratitude for anyone in the MA community (anonymously if you prefer), and we'll share it with them to keep the positivity going.
