In lieu of a final exam or essay, students in the Latin American Music class created an informative website with all the information they had learned in class from lectures, readings, videos, music files, and other sources.
Students worked together, delegating the various types of music and skills that make of the website so impactful and visually appealing. In the process, students demonstrated their knowledge of the various major types of Latin American music, while also practicing their various linguistic skills in speaking to each other in Spanish, writing in Spanish, reading and editing their Spanish work, and listening to each other and to the music included in the website that was in Spanish.
