Learning Big Lessons with Microscopic Specimens

In seventh science classes, students are learning how to use a microscope in order to see microscopic specimens!

Students are observing eukaryotic cells from the animal, plant, fungi, and protist kingdoms while also discovering prokaryotic cells from the bacteria domain.

In the activity pictured above, students are seen working with their lab partners to gather images of specimens, drawing their observations, and then labeling those images by the classification of the organisms.
