On December 19th, our Lower and Middle School students, faculty, and visiting families gathered in Central Moravian Church for Lessons and Carols.

 During the service, Director of Lower School Ann Mindler, Alicia Gordon '24, Olivia Seymour '27, Director of Middle School John Donecker, and Javier Rosa '27 led the congregation in the reading of the Christmas story and the lighting of the advent candles.

The Ministry of Music throughout the service was provided by the Middle School String Orchestra, directed by Chase Morrison. In addition to performing "Veni, Veni, Emmanuel" and "Hallelujah Chorus" for the audience, the performers helped provide accompaniment for carols in the service, including "O Come All Ye Faithful," "Silent Night," "Campana-Sobre-Campana," "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," and "Joy to the World."

The service concluded with a special Hanukkah benediction by Devon Burke '24 and an organ recessional by Mrs. Lou Carol Fix.
