On Wednesday, November 20, Lizzie Stifel '19 Facetimed our French 3 classes from Senegal, where she is spending a gap year through YES Abroad.
Lizzie spent the whole class speaking to us (en français, bien sûr!) about her life in Senegal. Students were interested to hear about her adjustment to French immersion, her school, and the foods she has been able to try. We even got to meet her host sister!
We recorded the conversation, so that other French classes will get a chance to hear what Lizzie had to say as well. We cannot thank Lizzie enough for taking the time to “visit” us.
