On October 8th, first graders spent their morning in Peace Valley Nature Center in Doylestown on a seed walk. They explored the fields and meadows looking for different types of seeds noting their packaging and how they travel. The students showed curiosity while finding different types of seeds and were eager to share them with one another.
After the seed walk, the children were looking forward to playing at Kids' Castle Playground, an amazing four-story play space. When we arrived, we discovered that it was closed for reconstruction. We were so impressed with how the first graders handled their disappointment and seamlessly adapted to playing on a different playground. It was a great lesson in resilience, and everyone had a wonderful day!
