Our fifth-grade post-Spanish Immersion class is exploring the concept of 'la comunidad' (the community) through a series of walking field trips around our Downtown Campus.

During our trips this week, we discussed what makes a community, the community surrounding Moravian Academy, and where the Spanish language is spoken near our campus. We had a short preview visit of Francisco's Salvadorian Restaurant on Broad Street, and will be returning in a week to practice our Spanish, have lunch and try some pupusas!
