Written by Ann Mindler | Jul 26, 2019 7:02:03 PM

Dear Lower School Parents,

It may be summer, but it has been quite busy at the Lower School. Rooms have been painted, offices redesigned, some classrooms moved, with some interior construction still in process.

But, as we come to the end of July, it is time to start thinking about the beginning of another school year. This email contains information regarding school forms, new faculty and staff changes, school supplies, picnics, first day of school protocol and more, which will help you prepare for the 2019-20 school year! Please read this information carefully, mark your calendars, and plan to join us at the various events throughout the year.

If you have any questions about the information provided, please call the Lower School Office at 610-868-8571.

School Forms

At this time, we are asking all parents to log into the myMA portal to complete your child(ren)’s forms. There are a variety of forms to complete, including student health forms, Emergency Contact information, and other forms that we need to have completed annually.

Getting Started:

  1. To log in, click on the red myMA button located in the top right corner of the homepage (moravianacademy.org).
  2. Enter your username and password. If you have already logged in, your username and password have not changed. If this is your first time logging in, click on the link “Forgot Login or First Time Logging In” to create your username and password.
  3. Once you are logged in, you will see a bar across the top with personalized links that alert you to the forms you will need to complete. Simply click on the link to start completing the forms. Some of the data fields may pre-populate with the personal information that we have on file based on the forms you submitted for the previous school year.
  4. Some medical forms still require a physician signature. These forms will need to be downloaded and printed. Please return the forms requiring a physician signature to the Lower School Main Office.

Click on Directories to view and edit your family’s contact information. To do this, search for your name in the Parent Directory and under “Options” select “Contact Card” (to edit, click on the pencil icon located in the top right corner). Please note: the email address listed on your Contact Card is the address used for school-wide email messages, as well as sending progress reports and report cards. It is important to keep these up to date.

Calendar

While you are logged into the myMA portal, you may wish to click on Calendar to view upcoming events for the school year. Select the event categories you wish to view in the left-hand sidebar, i.e. All School Events or Lower School Events.

Please note: Our website functions best when you use the most recently released version of your web browser. If you have any questions, please contact Elizabeth Stitt in the Lower School Main Office at 610-868-8571 or estitt@mamail.net.
