Masks for Moravian Academy: Success!

September 11, 2020

Led by senior Jason Jiang '21, Upper School students Keith Lutostansky '21, Nader Rifai '21, and Jay Jiang '22, raised $5,000 to purchase 30,000 masks for the Moravian Academy community.

The students spent the summer fundraising for the masks, and their efforts paid off. With thousands of disposable masks now on hand in addition to the reusable masks provided to students, faculty, and staff, all members of our community will have access to face coverings. These same young men donated over 3,500 masks to the faculty of Moravian Academy in March and April of this past year to keep them safe as the pandemic began.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser and helped spread the word about the students' mission, and thank you to Jason, Keith, Nader, and Jai for your tremendous thoughtfulness. The generosity of so many has helped support the safety of our school community as we continue with full-time, five-day, in-person school this fall.
