The National French Contest (*Le Grand Concours)* is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students in grades 1-12, in all 50 states, take a written and a listening test. Our 7th graders competed against approximately 4,500 other students, while our 8th graders competed against over 17,000 students. Félicitations to all of our Middle School French students who participated in the contest!

The following students earned an award for their performance on the exam:

**8th Grade**  
**Rohan Mehta** – Gold  
**Kaitlyn Lee** – Silver  
**Emma Hogan** – Bronze  
**Gracie Hylton – **Bronze  
**Nabeel Rifai** – Bronze  
**Alina Gangji** – Bronze  
**Adrian Vanegas** – Honorable Mention
