Moravian Academy Kindergarten Plays Together on the Swain Campus

On September 28, 2022, sixty seven kindergarten friends from the Downtown and Swain Campus enjoyed a morning together at their first of many play dates!

They started their time together with a morning meeting and gathered for a greeting, a share, and an activity.  This morning meeting structure encourages teamwork, empathy, inclusion, and serves to set the tone and energy for the day ahead! They even got to learn some Spanish greetings from their friends in the Spanish Immersion Program! 

After time spent getting to know each other, they had fun on the playground.  The children laughed, played, and explored with their new friends.

The morning ended with a good bye song, hugs, and anticipation for their next play date together!
