Moravian Academy Ranked Among America's Best STEM High Schools

December 16, 2019

Moravian Academy is among the top 500 science, engineering, and math high schools in the United States, according to a recent ranking released by Newsweek and STEM.org.

Ranked 261st nationwide with a STEM score of 92.84, Moravian Academy was one of only 12 schools in the Philadelphia area that made the list.

Newsweek and STEM.org determined the rankings by utilizing regression analysis to evaluate which primary and secondary institutions in America best offer students quality experience in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, while also preparing them for post-school life.

"We found schools in every region of the country that offer skilled teachers who keep up with developments in these fields and who create dynamic learning environments to engage their students," the report's researchers said. "With high-profile institutions in big urban areas and small but strong programs across the nation, America's future in science, technology, engineering and mathematics is in good hands."
