Moravian Angels Club Participates in Miracle League Event

November 19, 2019

At the end of October, our Moravian Angels Club sponsored a booth at the Miracle League of Northampton County’s annual Trick or Treat event.

The event, which was held at Easton Rotary Field at the Charles Chrin Community Center, allows children with intellectual and physical disabilities and their families to participate in Trick or Treating in a safe and accessible environment. Moravian Angels club members (Maclaine Oskin '21, Emma Gross '21 - Club Leader, Diana Lopez '22, Keira Smith '22, and Audrey Dai '21) chose a theme of unicorns and dragons for the booth decorations and costumes, and came prepared with allergy-friendly and non-food treat options.

The goal of the Moravian Angels Club is to support the community of people with disabilities, specifically children and young adults, in the Lehigh Valley. They aim to facilitate and be apart of many volunteer outreach programs to engage all members of the community in activities that support anti-discrimination, self love, and inclusive opportunities.
