Welcome to our virtual Mother's Lovefeast!
Today, as an all-school community, we will celebrate the many mothers and mother-figures who have given so much over the course of the past year, but particularly in these last few months. Normally, we would have come together on the Downtown Campus to visit with our students in class and share in the joy of the Lovefeast in Central Moravian Church. We have tried to distill the most important components of the Lovefeast for us to enjoy today as we honor the treasured mothers and caregivers in our lives.
Below you will find a range of activities for mothers and caregivers to engage in both with and without their children. Some of these activities are live Zoom events you can join today at a scheduled time. Other events are pre-recorded videos you can enjoy at a time that works best for you and your family. We are also offering a few events just for kids in order to give their moms a bit of a break today! Finally, we offer some project ideas that students, their moms, and/or the whole family can do today as an S day project, or on a day that is most convenient for them. Many of these projects are service-minded in nature, an ideal which is at the very heart of the Moravian tradition.
To all of our mothers and caregivers, we honor you and thank you for being the heart of our community!
