Mrs. Parent Spreads Holiday Cheer
Mrs. Susan Parent, Director of the Annual Fund, has been popping into early childhood classrooms to spread holiday cheer across the Downtown Campus.
With her dulcimer in tow, Mrs. Parent visited Downstairs Kindergarten to sing the holiday classic: "Twelve Days of Christmas."
In our preschool classroom, she played for students "My Favorite Things" while teacher Mrs. Burcaw held up the storybook for students to follow along with the pictures. Preschoolers also learned about the dulcimer while looking at it up close.
"Students have put joy into my life for 26+ years at Moravian Academy," says Mrs. Parent. "Every experience in the classroom is energizing, especially around the holidays. Singing familiar songs and playing the dulcimer makes everyone smile."
Moravian Academy is thankful for Mrs. Parent, her continued dedication to our school, and the many varied ways in which she uplifts students and faculty alike, especially during the holiday season.
