They may be Lions at heart, but Olivia Fabiano '21, Bethany Marzella '20, and Paige Busch '21 carried the Notre Dame Crusaders to the Lehigh Valley High School Softball Showcase semifinals. 

Fabiano '21, Marzella '20, and Busch '21 compete on Notre Dame's varisty softball team as part of a co-op program between the two schools. Their stellar performance helped to earn the team a spot in the semifinals against Freedom High School, which will take place at Coca-Cola Park on Thursday, July 16. 

In an article for Lehigh Valley Live, Fabiano said, "At first, it was a little bit scary. I’m not going to lie because when we were told we were coming to another school, are they going to like us? But no, we got along so well. And the girls were so welcoming. I actually really like it because I made all these new friends. It’s a really cool experience.”

Moravian Academy congratulates the softball players on their great performance and wishes them luck as the team advances to the semifinals.
