The Outdoor Education Program had a great start with its first two weekend hikes.

The program, which expanded this year to include students in seventh and eighth grade, took participants to the Wildlands Conservancy South Mountain Preserve and the Trexler Nature Preserve.

Participants from grades 7 through 12 gathered to take in the beautiful woods and scenery, while also discovering many varieties of plants, fungi, and some wildlife.
