The Physical Education department started the year off with the sport of soccer. Students worked on skills associated with soccer, like dribbling and passing.
The department had to think about using minimal equipment while staying physically distant, so soccer was a perfect fit. In the sports world, there is an up-and-coming sport that combines soccer and golf called footgolf. The department made a 9-hole course in God's Acre. The students worked on their passing, accuracy, pace, and also trying to "read the green." The students had fun keeping score and trying a new sport!
