The Moravian Academy Upper School Quiz Bowl Team won the PBS39 Scholastic Scrimmage Competition for the second year in a row.

Our team competed against students from Emmaus, Parkland, and Northwestern Lehigh on the way to their victory in the final against Stroudsburg High School. This is the second consecutive championship for Moravian Academy and the fourth trophy overall in the school’s history.

This year’s team was entirely new from last year’s successful team, and consisted of two seniors, Ellie Capobianco '23 and Okezue Bell '23, and two freshmen, Tyler Shankweiler '26 and team captain Nathaniel Schmidt '26. Nathaniel also represented Moravian Academy in the All Stars match.

The matches will air on PBS39 and be available soon after for streaming through PBS39 website on the following dates. Scholastic Scrimmage airs Sundays at 9:30 AM exclusively on PBS39.
