Recent Moravian Academy graduates Neil Deshmukh '20 and Rhea Malhotra '20 are slated to present at TEDxLehighRiver Virtual on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 8:00 p.m.
They will participate in the panel discussion "Back to School: Students Making the Most of the New Educational Landscape." The event is being held virtually via Zoom and Facebook Live. It is free and open to the public.
According to TEDxLehighRiver:
COVID-19 is impacting lives everywhere, forcing us to create new ways of behaving, thinking and surviving. Young people are among those facing the most challenges – school in 2020 looks nothing like it did before.
How are young people coping with this massive change in their lives?
We invite you to gain perspective on this issue in a “Back to School” virtual conversation with three exceptional and innovative young people from the Lehigh Valley. Meet Rhea Malhotra, Neil Deshmukh and Aryaman Khandelwal, all former TEDxLehighRiver speakers, when TEDxLehighRiver presents the sixth in its new series of online conversations via Zoom and Facebook LIVE.
It’s the first of a two-part “Back to School" event that will continue at 8 p.m. Sept. 22 with a conversation with Lehigh Valley educators. Our Virtual Conversations are free and presented simultaneously on Zoom and Facebook LIVE. Pre-registration is encouraged; participation on Zoom is limited to 100 registered people and is first come, first served on event night.
