In groups of three, my eighth-grade students in my Spanish class were challenged to create a highly organized, interesting conversation full of Spanish vocabulary and grammar that we learned in class.
The scenario? You and your friends are going out to eat after the movies or a concert at a restaurant. During dinner, you are ordering different dishes and drinks and also having a conversation about your experience at the movies/concert.
The conversation had to be presented all in Spanish and provided in writing first. Students could ask me questions for new vocabulary or grammar if needed.
