Second graders at the Swain campus were able to experience the exciting physical reaction that takes place between Diet Coke and Mentos!
A fizzy soda, like Diet Coke, is filled with carbon dioxide bubbles that attach to tiny bumps and dimples on the mentos candy and creates a WOOSH of carbon dioxide bubbles that shoot out of the bottle! This is an easy and fun physical reaction to do somewhere O U T S I D E with family!
